Anti-Gay App Battle Targets Steve Jobs.

The National Organization for Marriage, or NOM, is an anti-gay and same sex marriage group, produced a video that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il is steve jobs in a George Orwell-like scenario. A voiceover accuses Jobs of censoring causes issues that he disagrees with, stating “the celebrated Steve Jobs has become the opposite Steve Jobs; he’s become Big Brother.”



Apple Insider-Trading Ring Crimes

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan arrested approximately four people today on charges accusing the “expert consultants” of selling secrets and other untrue about Apple’s iPhone and other related apple technology companies to hedge funds and seek extra money. The accused also said that they are seeking an edge on financial reporting.



Online Deals App for IPhone was launched by Visa

A new company’s new Visa Mobile app that offers discounts from online and offline retailers such as JC Penney, Hertz and Zales and other related companies. After cardholders and members enter their name, address, and credit card number, the app informs them of deals from participating retail stores based from their shopping history.



The PlayStation App for IPhone, Android is to Be Launched by Sony

Sony the Japanese electronics company said the app, which requires iOS 4 or Android 1.6 and higher, will allow players to monitor their PlayStation trophies, friends’ games and online statuses. They also can access the gaming news and notifications and share information through email and social networking. The software will first be available in the U.K., France, Germany, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands, with more countries expected soon. A specific U.S. release date was not revealed said Sony.



1.9 Billion US Trade Deficit Was Added by Iphone

A recent report by economists at the Asian Development Bank Institute in Tokyo shows that widening trade gap between the U.S. and China was caused by the headset. It sourced parts from other Asian countries despite being designed in the US. The phone’s assembly in China counts the handset as a Chinese export to the U.S. in both countries’ trade statistics. It is therefore considered a Chinese product, despite the fact that its maker is a U.S.-based country.
