Apple has announced that they will not allow you to re-download apps that you have already paid for and download in the past. Prior to this announcement if you deleted and app on purpose or accident you could easily go back to the iTunes store using your iPhone and download it for free. Well no more says Apple. Starting with the 3.0 firmware you will either have t buy the app once again or wait until you get home to a PC before re-downloading it for free. The move is not meant to control bandwidth on iPhones but since the new firmware allows multiple accounts they are controlling free app sharing.
